Growing Company Seeks Hardworking Individuals to Help Expand Nebraska Sales Territory
On March 29, 30 and 31, Platinum Supplemental Insurance will hold informational meetings in Omaha, Grand Island and Lincoln (respectively) to share information about the company’s plan to expand its presence in Nebraska.
“The supplemental insurance products that Platinum markets are geared toward farming and ranching families,” says Kevin Van Veldhuizen, Platinum’s vice president of sales. “Nebraska offers a perfect opportunity for expansion. We have teams in the state already, but we are trying to expand even further.”
Because of Platinum’s extensive training program, people from all career backgrounds have experienced success in the career, but Platinum has found that those with a farming or ranching background tend to adapt to the career quite easily.
“A willingness to work hard, coupled with a career opportunity where the financial rewards are directly connected to the level of effort and hard work put into the career is appealing to a lot of folks from the agricultural industry,” Van Veldhuizen adds.
The supplemental insurance products Platinum markets help protect families against the high cost of fighting cancer and other chronic illnesses. “We work hard to make sure our products are offering the types of benefits that are most helpful and useful to farmers and ranchers who are typically self-employed and cannot risk the loss of income due to a major illness,” says Van Veldhuizen. Representatives can typically earn $50,000 to $75,000 in their first year—and some earn even more.
Dave Nelson, who has been with Platinum for nearly five years, lives near Ainsworth, Nebraska. He heard about the position while working as a ranch hand and thought that it might be just the chance for him and his wife Nina to start working toward a ranch of their own.
A week before Christmas in 2011, Dave began his adventure as a Platinum sales representative.
Six months later, Dave became one of the highest producing sales reps on the Platinum team. By August 2012, Dave and his family bought, and paid in-full, their first home. After that, Dave knew he had found a unique and highly rewarding career that would change his family’s life.
”It did seem too good to be true — and at first I was skeptical, but within the first month we saw and felt results. The money was real,” Nelson said.
To learn how you can benefit from the same opportunity Dave had, please join Platinum at an informative meeting in Omaha – March 29; Grand lsland – March 30 or Lincoln – March 31. Please register for this event by calling 855-816-0060. If you are unable to make one of these meetings, call the registration line for more information.
