Meet Jennifer, Claims Specialist

Jennifer is a claims specialist in Platinum’s customer service department. With over 10 years of customer service experience, she can help ease the burden and hassle of filing claims and expertly walk you through the claims process.

Meet Jennifer, a claims specialist at Platinum Supplemental Insurance. As part of Platinum’s knowledgeable customer service team, Jennifer is here to help you one-on-one with any questions you have and any claims assistance you need.

How long have you worked in customer service?

I’ve worked in different types of customer service for about 10 years total and two years at Platinum.

What do you enjoy about working on Platinum’s customer service team?
It’s so much like a family. We have a family-like environment here, and we all work together to do the best that we can for the customers. Everyone’s always open and available whenever someone needs help or advice on anything.

What do you enjoy most about working with customers?
My favorite part is how grateful customers are. Some of the things we do are so simple and so little that they don’t seem like they would make much of an impact, but people are grateful for every single thing we do. When I talk to them on the phone, so many customers ask me questions, like how I’m doing. Or, if I cough, they’ll ask how I’m feeling. Even when they’re dealing with a bad situation, these customers show so much warmth and compassion for other people.

Do you have a customer service philosophy?
My motto is, “Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.” I try to put myself in someone else’s position. I’ve dealt with critical illness in my family before, and I know it’s life-changing. It’s important to be able to understand what someone else is going through.
